本ポリシーは、iOS アプリ「Untangle」（以下「本アプリ」）における、データの取り扱いを説明するものです。
本アプリは、話した内容を録音し、その録音をこの端末の中で文字起こしし、文字起こしを整理して読めるノートにするアプリです。以下では、その各段階でデータがどこにあり、どこへ送られ、どれだけ保存されるのかを順に説明します。

本ポリシーおよびデータの取り扱いに関するお問い合わせ、サーバー側に残る記録の削除のご請求は、上記のメールアドレスにご連絡ください。削除をご依頼の場合は、アプリの「設定」に表示されるインストール ID をメールに記載してください。詳しくは第 9 項をご覧ください。
録音は、この端末内のアプリ専用の保存領域にのみ保存されます。サーバーにアップロードされることはありません。
文字起こしが保存された時点で、録音は削除されます。文字起こしに失敗した場合、録音が中断された場合、分割録音の結合に失敗した場合にかぎり、やり直しのために録音を保持します。録音は、まだ「話した言葉に戻る唯一の手段」である間だけ残ります。
文字起こしは、iOS の音声認識機能を用いて、この端末の中で行われます。Untangle は端末内でのみ認識する設定を使用しています。
iOS が音声認識の許可を求める画面には、「このアプリからの音声データはリクエストを処理するために Apple に送信されます」という Apple の文言が表示されます。これは iOS が音声認識機能全体について表示するものであり、Untangle の設定を反映したものではありません。
思考を整理する際、文字起こしのテキストが、AI の提供元である Anthropic PBC に送信されます。送信されるのは、文字起こしのテキストと、出力言語などの設定値のみです。Anthropic に音声が送信されることはありません。
Anthropic は、公表しているポリシーにおいて、API の入力および出力を受領または生成から 30 日以内に削除するとしています。また、明示的な許可がない限り、モデルの学習には使用されません。
思考の内容について。思考の文字起こしを共有する第三者は、AI の提供元である Anthropic PBC のみです。思考を整理する目的にのみ使用されます。録音を Anthropic や RevenueCat に送信することはありません。Apple のプラットフォーム機能については下記の説明が適用されます。それ以外に、本アプリが思考の内容を第三者サービスへ送信することはありません。
購入と購読について。購読の販売と決済は、App Store を通じて Apple が行います。購入そのものは Apple が扱い、Apple 自身のプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。購読状態の確認と管理には RevenueCat, Inc. を利用しています。RevenueCat が受け取るのは、購入情報・製品 ID・端末および SDK の情報と、第 8 項に記載する端末ごとの ID です。RevenueCat が思考の内容を受け取ることはありません。Apple については、次の「Apple のプラットフォームについて」をご覧ください。
Apple のプラットフォームについて。本アプリは Apple のプラットフォーム上で動作し、端末内の音声認識や App Store など Apple の機能を利用しています。Apple がプラットフォームおよび App Store の運営者としてデータを受け取る場合、それは Apple 自身のプライバシーポリシーに基づくものであり、本アプリのために行われるものではありません。
上記以外に、データ共有のための第三者サービスは本アプリに組み込んでいません。分析ツール、広告ネットワーク、クラッシュレポートツールは一切利用していません。
確認事項。本アプリが自ら選んでデータを共有する提供元である Anthropic および RevenueCat について、両社が公表している個人情報・データ保護に関する条項を確認しています。その内容に基づき、両社が、本ポリシーに記載する保護および App Store Review Guidelines が求める保護と同等以上の保護を提供するものと確認しています。

24 時間という期間は、上の表のとおり「整理された結果」にのみ適用されるもので、サーバー上のすべてのデータが 24 時間で消えるという意味ではありません。
整理を 1 回行うごとに、使用したトークン数と、実行されたモデルの名前を記録します。記録されるのは数値と識別子のみです。話した内容は含まれておらず、そこから文字起こしを復元することはできません。
ただし、トークン数は入力の長さに応じて増減するため、どのくらい使ったか、入力がどのくらいの長さだったかの、おおよその目安にはなります。何を話したかを示すものではありません。
これらは端末ごとの ID に紐づけて記録されます。この ID は本アプリがこの端末のために生成したものです。Untangle のサーバー上では、この ID をアカウント、メールアドレス、Apple ID などの個人を特定する情報と紐づけて保存していません。
設定画面の「すべての思考をエクスポート」から、すべての思考を 1 つの Markdown ファイルとして書き出せます。
設定画面の「すべてのデータを削除」から、この端末上のすべての思考・文字起こし・録音を削除できます。このデータを復元できるサーバー上のバックアップはありません。アプリを削除した場合も同じで、端末内のデータはなくなります。
iOS のバックアップから復元されるかどうかは Apple が明示していないため、こちらからは保証も否定もできません。大切な思考は、先にエクスポートしておいてください。
この端末のデータを削除しても、サーバー上の利用状況の記録（第 8 項）は削除されません。これらは端末ごとの ID に紐づいており、端末側の操作では届きません。
削除をご希望の場合は、アプリの「設定」→「サポート」に表示されるインストール ID を記載のうえ、niru52.dev@gmail.com までご連絡ください。設定画面の「コピー」からそのまま貼り付けられます。この ID が、記録を特定できる唯一の手がかりです。ID がなければ、どの記録を削除すべきか判断できません。
本アプリは 13 歳未満の方を対象としておらず、13 歳未満の方から意図的に情報を収集することはありません。
本ポリシーを変更した場合は、このページ冒頭の「最終更新」の日付を更新します。データの取り扱いに実質的な変更がある場合は、アプリ内でもお知らせします。
This policy explains how data is handled in the iOS app Untangle.
Untangle records what you say, transcribes that recording on your device, and organizes the transcript into a readable note. What follows describes, stage by stage, where your data is, where it goes, and how long it is kept.

Recordings are saved only in this app's own storage on your device. They are never uploaded to our server.
A recording is deleted once its transcript has been saved. It is kept only after a failed transcription, an interruption, or a failed merge of a segmented recording — that is, only while it is still the way back to your words.
Transcription happens on your device, using the speech recognition built into iOS. Untangle is configured to use on-device speech recognition.
When iOS asks for speech recognition, it shows Apple's own line saying that speech data from this app will be sent to Apple to process your requests. That is what iOS shows for speech recognition in general; it does not reflect how Untangle is configured.
To organize a thought, the transcript text is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic PBC. What is sent is the transcript text and settings such as the output language. No audio is sent to Anthropic.
Anthropic's published policy states that API inputs and outputs are deleted within 30 days of receipt or generation. They are not used for model training unless explicit permission is given.
Thought content. The transcript of a thought is shared with one third party only: Anthropic PBC, our AI provider, and only for the purpose of organizing it. Recordings are not sent to Anthropic or RevenueCat. Apple's platform services are addressed below. Apart from those platform services, this app does not send thought content to any other third-party service.
Purchases and subscription. Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the purchase itself, and Apple's own privacy policy applies to it. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to check and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives purchase and product data, device and SDK information, and the device-scoped ID described in section 8. RevenueCat does not receive thought content. For Apple's role, see Apple platform services below.
Apple platform services. This app runs on Apple's platform and uses Apple's frameworks, including on-device speech recognition and the App Store. Where Apple receives data as the operator of that platform and of the App Store, it does so under Apple's own privacy policy, not on our behalf.
Beyond these, we do not integrate any other third-party services for data sharing. This app uses no analytics tools, advertising networks, or crash-reporting tools.
Our confirmation. We have reviewed the privacy and data-protection terms published by Anthropic and RevenueCat — the two providers we share data with by our own choice. On that basis, we confirm that both provide protection of this data at least equal to the protection described in this policy and required by the App Store Review Guidelines.

As the table shows, the 24-hour window applies only to the organized result. It does not mean that everything on our server is deleted after 24 hours.
Each time a thought is untangled, we record how many tokens it used and which model ran. What is recorded is numbers and an identifier. It does not contain what you said, and the transcript cannot be reconstructed from it.
Token counts do rise and fall with the length of the input, so they give a rough indication of how much you used the service and how long an input was. They do not indicate what you said.
These are recorded against a device-scoped ID, generated by this app for this device. In Untangle's server records, this ID is not linked to an account, email address, Apple ID, or other identifying account information.
Settings → Export all thoughts writes every thought out as a single Markdown file.
Settings → Delete all data removes every thought, transcript and recording on this device. There is no server-side backup that could restore this data. Deleting the app does the same: what is on the device is gone.
Whether an iOS backup restores it is not something Apple documents, so we can neither promise it nor rule it out. If a thought matters to you, export it first.
Deleting your data on this device does not delete the usage records on our server (section 8). Those are keyed to a device-scoped ID, and nothing done on the device reaches them.
To have them deleted, email niru52.dev@gmail.com and include the installation ID shown under Settings → Support in the app. There is a Copy action there so you can paste it straight in. That ID is the only way we can find those records — without it we cannot tell which ones to delete.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page is updated. If there is a material change to how data is handled, we will also say so in the app.
